Altinkum Holidays in 2011

I have recently been on holiday to Altinkum for the first time in 2yrs and have decided to write to Didim Today to express my overall view of my holiday. I travelled over to Altinkum with my family; I took my 2 and a half old daughter and my 4yr nephew as part of our party. During our stay in Altinkum I have to say I was very impressed with the amount of activities/ entertainment they now have for children, firstly it was noticed by ourselves the number of restaurants that now that play facilities such as small slides, climbing frames and even bouncy castles etc and a number of restaurants also have playgrounds where you can sit and what the children play.

Disco Medusa opens doors to 2011

Disco Medusa is the largest open air night club in the Altinkum Didim and Akbuk area and has been running for over 15 yrs now, it plays a variety of different styles of music to suit all and can hold over 1000 guests and has build a huge reputation on being one of the best nightlife spots within the Altinkum Didim for many years and it is also renowned for spotting the odd famous face.

Greece and Turkey holidays in ruins, with air travel regulator the Civil Aviation Au thority working to fly 16,000 back to UK.Tens of thousands of British holidaymakers face missing out on their summer travel plans following the collapse of Goldtrail, a cut-price tour operator. Air travel regulator the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) confirmed that Goldtrail Travel Ltd, which specialises in low-cost holidays to Greece and Turkey, went into administration at about 4pm yesterday, leaving an estimated 16,000 people overseas.
